Make the first session concrete

Write the deliverable in one sentence: paper, lab report, proof, or problem set.
Copy the deadline and grading requirements into one note.
Choose one small artifact to produce now: a question list, source outline, data table, or worked example.
Set a short timer and stop after the artifact exists, even if it is rough.
Record the next action before closing the document.
